LS2208 Barcode Scanner Configuration and Programming Sheets

LS2208 Programming Sheets

Please click link below for programming sheets for the LS2208 barcode scanner.
Scan all barcodes from top to bottom to program the scanner.

Enable Barcode Scanning In VetlinkPro Setup

  1. Go to Options -> Setup -> Miscellaneous -> Bar Coding tab
  2. Tick Using barcode scanner
  3. Complex  Bar Code Scanner should be unticked

Remote Desktop Setup

On Remote desktop session the prefix when scanning a barcode may come up as \ instead of |. 
You can check this by scanning a barcode in notepad on the remote session.
To change the prefix
  1. Log off vetlink remote session but clicking thew red log off shortcut on the desktop
  2. Right click the remote desktop shortcut and go to Edit (or show more options -> Edit)
  3. Go to Local Resources tab
  4. Set Apply Windows Key Combination to On this Computer
  5. click back to General tab and click save
  6. Log back into remote session, open notepad and scan a barcode and make sure it is a | for first character.
