Bulk Mailers

To create a 'Bulk Mailer' first go to 'Reports' > Then 'Bulk Mailers' > Select 'Next' > Now you will be on the "Client" tab > Click 'Add New' >

You will be prompted  "Design New Report?" > Select 'Yes' >
Now the form to start making selections will open > At the top of the form enter your Mailers 'Name' > Set 'Printer' to 'Forms 1' > Set 'Shared' to 'Yes' > 
Set "Table link" To "Cln > Amn > Bil"  

Under "Use Following Tables" Select tick boxes next to 'Clients' 'Client Address' 'Client Contact' 'Cln Acct Details' and 'Animals"

Under "Special Filters" Set-
"One entry per" - Choose "Client" 
"Client Group" - Choose 'Normal Clients"
Complex Item does not apply so selection does not effect outcome.

Under "Use Client Marketing Tab" Set - 

If you want to send letters select  "if address entered" unless you only wish to send letters to clients with an email address,
in which case select 'If Mailers chkbox Ticked in "By Post"'

If you want to send Emails and sms follow the same method, any method you wish to exclude set to 'Don't send ____'

Beside the document options are drop downs for templates.  
To Create a new Template select the 'New' Button beside the preferred method of contact.
Enter Template Name and click 'Okay'
Enter subject in subject line (Will not allow you to save template without one)
Write your message.
Click where you wish to insert merge fields (Pulls information from client record and auto fills information) and click "Merge Fields" Button at top of email window. Select the field you wish to populate and click 'Okay' 
To insert an image, such as Clinic Logo,  Click where you wish the image to sit, click the "Insert Image" Button at top of email window.
File explorer will open- find your image and select it. (The image must already be saved to your computer to insert- copy and paste does not work)

Save Template. 

Repeat for any other document forms you want to send.

Back at report  selection form, Select "Save"

Now you will be on a bigger filter selection form- Click client drop down, then hit the 'x' to close client search ( This will make the selection *ALL*)
Set date range for when their last visit was to desired length (A few years past is good to limit numbers to most active clients)
If you have large and small animal clients set up under different client categories you can refine your selection through those filter to target specific clientele.

At bottom of form- Click "Next" - Verify that the client list has the correct document type selected that you wish to send. If there are any errors such as missing email addresses, those clients will appear in Red.

To Send, Click "Next"

A Prompt will appear with the number of documents to be sent, to confirm you wish to send, Click 'Yes'
