Company / Branch / Store / Till Structure

The following graphic shows the Company, Branch, Store and Till structure of the VetlinkPRO database. Every database will have 1 company, 1 branch, 1 store and 1 Till.


Multi Company

  1. Shared Goods and Services
  2. Shared Goods and Service Pricing
  3. Different Company Name
  4. Different GST
  5. Separate Clients / Debtors  / Client Statements
  6. Separate Financial Reports

Multi Branch

  1. Each branch has a separate Logo / Name branding
  2. Client, Animal, Product, Supplier records shared between all branches of a Company.
  3. Cannot transfer bills between Branches / open an unfinished bill from another branch.

Multi-Store (Stock Locations)

  1. Stock Locations
  2. A store may include your stock room/warehouse, Cars/Trucks, Depo’s, etc…
  3. Each line item in a bill will be assigned against a store to take stock from.
  4. A bill can be transferred between stores from the SAME branch.

Multi-Till

  1. Used for totaling cash-ups at EOD.
  2. One till can be linked to multiple stores.
  3. Generally determined by which physical till / cash drawer a PC is linked to.

Separate Certificates per Product. Only one certificate can be set per product. Only the mail-merge variable for text logo (name, address) can be branch based.
