Singapore GST Change
The GST rate will change in Singapore on 01/01/2024, from 8% to 9%, and here at VetlinkPRO we are ready for the change, we’ve got your back!
What you need to do
Make sure you have the latest version of VetlinkPRO, version 6.10p or later. To check your current version go to Help > About, if you are unsure please call our support team, ph: 3159 0522. To arrange for an update please contact our support team BEFORE 20/12/2023.
When the GST change comes into effect, 01/01/2024, and you open VetlinkPRO for the first time you will be presented with two options, to update your GST only or update GST and increase product pricing:
- YES: this will KEEP the current product pricing and update the GST only, your product pricing will remain the same.
- INCREASE: this will update GST and the product retail price, your product retail prices will be adjusted and increased.
Please make your selection carefully, the action you choose is IRREVERSIBLE!
Recommendations
- Close all sales bills and purchase invoices before 01/01/2024.
- Perform End Of Month on 01/01/2024 for both Debtors and Creditors before you start entering any transactions on 01/01/2024.
