Emailing Consent Forms before the Appointment

Emailing Consent Forms before the Appointment

VetlinkPRO doesn't have a specific built in function to email a consent form from the appointment. Although it is something we will investigate to add in the future.

Currently we just have a printed version and and e-form which you can  send to a tablet for the client to sign. With the e-form the signed copy also automatically gets saved back to VetlinkPro as well.
You can read more about e-forms here https://www.vetlinkpro.com/APPS/e-Forms.

If you would still lime to email the best alternative would be to;
  1. Create the consent in options -> Picklists -> Animal -> Letter Templates (RTF)
  2. Then to email before appointment go to the animal document manager -> click + button and add new letter -> choose the consent form template you need
  3. Edit the consent form as needed and save
  4. Right click on the consent form in the document manager list and then choose email letter as attachment
  5. It would be emailed as a PDF which client would need a pdf editor to fill in, or they would need to print off.
  6. Any completed forms emailed back would just come back to your clinic inbox.
  7. We also have a polling folder that can be configured to attachment documents emailed back as well if required.
