Clinical Notes - Edit Later

Staff can mark clinical notes as unfinished so they can create a list to edit Later. This unfinished clinical notes list can be created by clicking the Edit Later tick box at the top right of the clinical notes.
If you tick this then each staff can come back later and get a list of all the clinical notes that need completing.



There are then a couple locations to check for unfinished clinical notes.

Option 1 - Staff ToDo List
  1. Open the Staff Todo List either by;
    1. Clicking Staff name on column in the diary
    2. Opening staff Record from staff button on main button menu then click todo list on menu at top of page.
  2. Click the History/Labs tab
  3. Unfinished histories and incoming lab results for that staff will be shown.
    Unfinished histories are denoted by the blue notes icon, incoming lab results are denoted by the red notes icon.


  4. To view / complete history click the open button link at end of line to go into the history. 

    1. For Unfinished clinical notes you can complete clinical notes and untick the Edit Later button once done.
    2. For Removing lab results once you have viewed them click the thumbs up button. 
Option 2 - Update History from Billing Menu
  1. Go to bill button from main button menu.
  2. Click update History.
  3. Choose your staff ID, Date range then click search.
  4. Select history to open and complete.
Note: The Edit Later option is only available in VetlinkPro version 7.
